Limnophila aromatica (1 pot – 10 stems)
Limnophia aromatica is characterised by its narrow green leaves, which are purple on the back. Like most other red plants, the colour depends on a supply of intensive light. CO2 addition promotes growth significantly, and it also thrives in hard water. Limnophilla aromatica is easy to propagate by cuttings.
Limnophila hippuridoides (1 pot – 08 stems)
Limnophila hippuridoides is originally from Asia and the stalks grow to be 20-50 cm high and 6-10 cm wide – often with beautiful outwards crooked shoot tips. A simple plant, able to adjust to various conditions.
The leaves are green with a red-violet underside, and the whole leaf turns red-violet under ideal growth conditions. A vigorously growing plant that willingly creates new, solid shoots from the base. Thinning of the oldest and longest shoots is recommended, in order to make room for such new shoots. Replant the cut-offs, they will soon grow new roots.
If either stem or leaves are damaged, a strong scent is emitted.
Limnophila aromatica ‘Mini’ (1 pot – 10-12 stems)
Limnophila Aromatica ‘Mini’ is a new attractive compact variant of regular Limnophila Aromatica, with a same pleasant fragrance, but with much more miniature growth. Under strong light & CO2, Limnophila Aromatica ‘Mini’ will produce many branches and grows as a compact – bushy plant with reddish-orange colours on the top leaves. Its serrated leaf edges give a great texture look. This is good as a bush mid ground or a background plant. This also can be grown emerged in paludariums / terrariums / phytospheres etc.
